Briefly analyze the reasons why there are high requirements for gas generators.
The height of the gas generator body ranges from 6 meters to 12 meters depending on the model. With the coal feeding mechanism and operating platform, the height can reach 12 meters to 25 meters.
Some customers don’t understand: Our coal-fired kilns were so small in the past, why were the gas furnaces designed to be so large? What kind of things are packed in such a high furnace? Can it be reduced? The answer is no, and we’ll tell you why:
There is only an empty layer of more than 1 meter above the entire furnace, and the other spaces are filled with coal and slag. The ash is located in the lower layer. As the coal is burned and gasified, it gradually moves downward and is finally discharged from the ash pan. From top to bottom, the furnace is composed of an empty layer, a drying layer, a retort layer, a reduction layer, an oxide layer, and an ash layer. Each layer has its own function. This is the main reason why the height of the two-stage gas generator cannot be reduced.
gas generatorThe ventilation in various areas of the cross-section sometimes produces uneven phenomena, which is caused by both innate conditions and acquired factors.
The conditions of the equipment are mainly related to the grate used. If there is a grate, when the air volume is low, the ventilation is good, and when the air volume is high, the edge ventilation is strong. Therefore, when the machine is in low air volume production for a long time, the temperature will always feel high. When it is in high air volume operation for a long time, the edge temperature will always be high.
The main operating condition factor is whether there is slag in the furnace. If there are slag blocks, the ventilation below the slag blocks will be good, while the ventilation around the slag blocks will be strong. The lumpiness of coal is also a factor. When the amount of pulverized coal in the coal entering the furnace is high, the lumpiness of the coal at the edge is different. There is more pulverized coal in the part and the ventilation resistance is large, so the ventilation volume is small. The coal lumpiness in the edge part is large and the ventilation resistance is small, so the ventilation volume is large.
