At this stage, the gas in the gasifier is cooled and purified to further reduce the content of carbon dioxide and other impurity gases. In addition, low-temperature gasification also helps improve the stability of syngas and reduce solid particles in water vapor.
3. Gasification media: In the gasification stage, some solid gasification media, such as cinders, ores or metal oxides, are usually used to help catalyze the gasification reaction and disperse the heat in the gas. This helps increase reaction efficiency.
4. Reaction control: Accurate temperature and pressure control of the gasification process is critical. This can be achieved through appropriate control systems to ensure that the reaction proceeds under optimal conditions.
5. Gas production quality: One of the main goals of the gasification stage is to improve the quality of syngas. This includes increasing H2 content and reducing carbon dioxide and other impurity gases. High-quality syngas is suitable for a variety of chemical processes and fuel preparation.
6. Waste heat recovery: The heat generated in the gasification stage can usually be used to preheat raw materials or generate steam to improve energy efficiency.
