gas generatorIt is a commonly used production equipment, but its production also has a great impact on the environment. There are two main types of environmental pollution caused by gas generators:
1. Crystal water volatiles in gas———Phenolic water.
2. Sulfur dioxide and hydrogen sulfide in coal gas.
At present, the gas generators commonly used in my country's metallurgical industry have high sulfur content in the exhaust smoke, causing environmental pollution, which has always been a problem that has plagued enterprise production. Generally, sewage can be purified by physical and chemical methods.
3. Physical and chemical methods are divided into the following six types.
① Steam chemical dephenolization method: Heat phenol water with steam to evaporate the phenol, and then absorb it with alkali liquid to form phenol sodium salt to remove phenol.
② Evaporation dephenolization method: After the sewage is heated by steam, the phenol evaporates and penetrates into the steam. Then it enters the generator as a gasification agent and is oxidized and decomposed into CO2 + H2O in the generator to dephenolize.
③ Sulfonated coal adsorption method: use the polar groups of sulfonated coal to adsorb phenol, and then wash it with alkali to make the discharged liquid contain phenol sodium salt.
④ Incineration method: Phenol is oxidized at high temperature to generate CO2 and H2O.
⑤ Solvent extraction dephenolization method: Use a solvent with a high distribution coefficient to extract phenol from sewage, and use alkali to wash it into phenol sodium salt during the extraction.
⑥ Resin dephenolization method: The phenol in the water is removed by the adsorption of phenol by the organic resin with a large specific surface area, and then the resin is washed with alkali to generate sodium phenolate, or the phenol in the resin is dissolved with methanol.
