The main cause of gas generator accidents

     1. The oxygen content in the gas is too high, causing gas explosion in the gas generator:
     1. Explosion due to excessive oxygen content when starting the furnace: When the gas generator is turned on, the coal seam is low, the furnace temperature is low, and the furnace is scarred; the steam carries water, which causes the furnace temperature to drop sharply; the flue gas enters the scrubber and cooling tower, and the pipes are not blown clean when switching to gas production after purging, etc., etc., all of which will cause an explosion with excessive oxygen content.
     2. Explosion due to excessive oxygen content during the operation of the gas generator: During the production process, due to operation or equipment reasons, the coal seam is too low, scarring, large air blast volume, automatic machine failure, etc. will cause an explosion with excessive oxygen content.
     3. Explosion when the furnace is shut down: The gas production pipeline is not purged due to slow action in cutting off the air pipe or malfunction of the automatic machine when the furnace is shut down. Negative pressure is caused by the cooling of the gas, and air is sucked in from loose parts of the pipe, causing the oxygen content to be too high and causing an explosion.
     2. When gas is poured into the air pipe, the oxygen content in the gas is too high and an explosion occurs:
     1. Explosion of the air pipe when the furnace is started: After the furnace is shut down and before the furnace is restarted, the air piping is not purged and replaced. The gas generator heats up or the gas returned when the furnace is shut down mixes with the air introduced when the furnace is turned on to reach the explosion limit, and an explosion occurs when encountering fire.
     2. Explosion during the production process: If the blower suddenly stops running, the air pressure under the ash tray of the gas generator will drop immediately, and the gas will flow from the furnace cavity into the ash hopper, from the ash hopper into the air inlet pipe, and then out of the blower, causing an explosion.
     3. Explosion when the furnace is shut down: Due to water pipe blockage and other reasons, the water is cut off and the water seal loses its function. When the furnace is shut down, the negative pressure in the furnace causes the gas to flow back into the air main pipe and the blower, causing an explosion. 
     3. Explosion occurs during maintenance and fire
     Incomplete replacement with inert gas before starting a fire, and there are still gas dead spots in the pipeline; inaccurate sampling and analysis, or relying on subjective experience. Starting a fire without passing the analysis will also cause an explosion; failure to cut off the gas source connected to the production system; the interruption time of the fire exceeding the regulations, and failure to conduct analysis when the fire breaks out again will cause an explosion.
     4. Explosion when the furnace is stuffy
     When the furnace is stifled, the outlet pipe is not cut off and the gas is driven away. Over time, the furnace becomes cold, and an explosive mixture is formed due to air infiltration, which explodes when exposed to fire.
     5. Explosion during power outage:
     When the power is out, the blower stops running, and the air pressure in the ash pit of the gas generator drops immediately, causing the gas pressure in the furnace to be greater than the air pressure in the ash pit, causing the gas to flow from the furnace into the ash pit, into the air duct and then into the blower, forming an explosive mixture with air. When the power comes in, the blower restarts, blowing the explosive mixture into the furnace and being ignited by the fire.
