1. Cold running phenomenon
(1) The gas generator outlet temperature is lower than the normal value.
(2) The material layer in the gas generator appears black or dark, slightly reddish.
(3) The gas contains too much moisture, the quality deteriorates, the H2 content increases, the CO2 content increases, the CO content decreases, the carbon content of the ash is high, and the kiln tends to the lower limit range.
2. Dangers of cold operation
(1) Thin ash layer can easily burn the grate or skirt.
(2) The temperature in the furnace is low, the oxidation reaction is insufficient, the vaporization efficiency is low, and the gas quality and output cannot meet the energy consumption requirements of the kiln.
(3) Due to the decrease in the temperature of the oxide layer, the ash layer is too thin, the gasification agent is preheated, the raw material gasification is incomplete, the carbon content of the ash and slag increases, and the raw material consumption increases.
3. Causes of cold operation
(1) The saturation temperature is higher than the normal control value.
(2) There is too much powder in the gasified raw materials, the resistance of the material layer increases, and the air permeability deteriorates.
(3) Too much ash is removed, the fire layer is lower than the top of the grate, and the total layer is too high.
4. Cold operation treatment methods
(1) The saturation temperature should be appropriately lowered according to the conditions in the furnace to increase the oxide layer temperature, but it is not allowed to exceed the specified range for a long time.
(2) Appropriately increase the amount of air entering the furnace, speed up the oxidation combustion speed, increase the thickness of the ash layer, the temperature of the oxide layer and the preheating temperature of the gasification agent.
(3) When the gas temperature of the gas generator is low, try to extend the feeding time.
(4) When the fire layer is at the bottom, stop rotating the ash pan to remove slag and cultivate the fire layer.
(5) Sieve out coal ash powder below 10mm.
