1. By controlling the heating operation of the atmosphere in the furnace, it is required that the high-temperature zone be concentrated in the heating section as much as possible, and the furnace pressure must be controlled to reduce the large amount of cold air sucked in from the discharge furnace door. The incompletely burned gas enters the heating section and combines with the superheated air in the heating section to burn. In this way, even if the high-temperature area in the hot section is concentrated, it is relatively uniform from the soaking section to the heating section. This heating operation method is beneficial to the reduction and shedding of furnace-generated iron chloride scale.
2. The steel billet is heated with a large heat load in the heating section, and the furnace temperature is maintained high so that the billet is heated in the heating section with a large surface and middle temperature difference. When the furnace temperature is reached, it is taken out of the furnace and started rolling, so as to avoid keeping the heated steel billet in the furnace for a long time. In this express heating operation, in addition to controlling the furnace pressure, when the temperature of the steel billet on the soaking bed is already very high and the surface has begun to melt slightly, the air reduction operation cannot be used at this time, because the reducing atmosphere caused by the air reduction will reduce the high-priced iron oxide scale formed on the surface to low iron oxide.
