Hollow fiber is used in two-stage gas generators. Hollow fiber is a hollow fiber tube that is thinner than a human hair. Countless hollow fibers are wound into a U shape and arranged sequentially and evenly around a porous water distribution pipe.
The open ends of the U-shaped hollow fiber tubes are cast together with epoxy resin, and the wells are laser-cut into a smooth cross-section so that the ends of the hollow fiber tubes are evenly distributed on this cross-section. The other end is also fixed with epoxy resin to prevent the hollow fiber tube bundle from shifting. Then put it into a cylindrical pressure-bearing container made of epoxy glass steel, install a porous gasket and an outlet end plate on one end of the outlet tube plate, and seal it with a loop sealing ring to form a hollow fiber permeator. High-pressure salt water passes through the central porous distribution pipe, and the water flow is spread on the outer wall of the hollow fiber tube in a radial manner. The water passes through the tube membrane into the fiber tube, collects at the outlet through the outlet tube plate, and then leads the fresh water out of the water pipe.
The advantages of hollow fiber reverse osmosis device are: compact device and high working efficiency. For example, when the operating pressure is 2.8MPa, the salt removal rate is 90-95%. When the operating pressure is 5.6MPa, the salt removal rate can reach 98.5%. It is currently the most efficient reverse osmosis device. The disadvantages of this kind of reverse osmosis device are the same as those of the spiral wound reverse osmosis device, that is, the membrane holes are easily blocked and cleaning is difficult, so the water pretreatment requirements are very strict.
