Traditional coal burning methods and traditional coal utilization processes will produce a large amount of pollutants, causing serious environmental pollution. The main reasons are:
1. Coal is not easy to contact with oxygen to form incomplete combustion. The combustion efficiency of gas generators is low, which relatively increases pollution emissions.

3. Most of the sulfur in raw coal is oxidized into SOx during the combustion process.
4. When solid fuel is burned, the temperature is difficult to be uniform, and a single-stage gas generator forms a local high-temperature zone, causing a large amount of NO
xform.
5. When untreated solid coal is directly burned, a large amount of dust will be discharged along with the flue gas, causing a large amount of dust pollution.
The single-stage gasifier coal-to-gas technology uses processes such as dust removal, water washing, and decoking of coal gas.
