The main reason for the failure of the gas generator water is due to the bulging of the water jacket, and the specific reasons are as follows:
(1) In order to increase the load of the generator and produce more gas, the water jacket inlet (water inlet) and outlet (water vapor outlet) valves were intentionally turned down or closed to increase the temperature of the generator and accelerate the reaction. As a result, the water jacket increased pressure and burst.
(2) Due to an imperfect handover system and operational errors, the water jacket inlet valve is too small or not opened; the water jacket steam outlet valve is too small or not opened; the water jacket inlet and outlet valves are closed; the water jacket inlet and outlet valves are closed during maintenance and are not opened after maintenance (such as repair welding), causing the water jacket pressure to rise and burst.
(3) When the water jacket is cut off or the water quantity is insufficient, or it is found that the inlet and outlet valves of the water jacketed boiler are not opened, causing a sharp rise in pressure, or when the water pump is found to have stopped running, the water pump is started in a hurry and the water jacket inlet valve is opened to replenish a large amount of cooling water, causing the water to suddenly vaporize and explode when exposed to high temperature and overpressure. After the inner wall ruptures, a large amount of water and steam enter
gas generatorInside, contact with the hot carbon layer can also cause the equipment to burst.
(4) The outlet valve of the water jacket was closed without permission, causing the water jacket to burst due to overpressure.
(5) After the overhaul of the gas generator was completed, the blind plate installed on the outlet pipe of the water jacket was forgotten to be removed. After the furnace was ignited, as the furnace temperature increased, the water vapor in the jacket could not be discharged, causing the water jacket to increase pressure and burst.
