As we all know, there are many types of material layers in gas generators, and each layer has different properties. However, during the operation of the equipment, once the height of the material layer is greater than the specified standard, it will have a direct impact on the gasification reaction of the equipment, resulting in a decrease in the efficiency of the equipment. Therefore, we need to control the height of the material layer. Specifically, we first understand the preheating layer, gasification layer, ash layer and empty layer in the material layer.
1. Preheating layer: including drying layer and retort layer, its thickness is determined by water, volatile matter, size of lumps and thermal conductivity of coal. If the preheating layer is too thin and the fuel layer is not preheated well, the reaction of the gasification layer will be affected and the gas quality will be too high. If the preheating layer is too high, it will have a negative impact on the gasification process. In coal with strong gasification, operation will be difficult, and local overheating, sintering or perforation will occur, which will increase the pressure.
2. Vaporized layer: including oxidation layer and reduction layer. The higher the temperature of the oxide layer, the faster the reaction rate between carbon and oxygen, and the greater the heat, which is conducive to the reduction of carbon dioxide and water vapor. Therefore, the quality of the oxide layer is the key to the quality of gasification.
3. Ash layer: The ash layer has the functions of protecting the grate, preheating air and uniform air distribution. Therefore, the ash content should be strictly controlled to maintain the ash layer so that the layer is stable and the gasification is normal. If the ash layer is too high, the oxidation layer and the reduction layer will rise and decrease relatively, which will affect normal gasification and can reflect
gas generatorThe internal resistance increases and the gas volume decreases.
4. Empty layer: The distance from the top of the furnace on the material plane is called an empty layer. When the air level is high, the fuel crushing effect is good when it enters the furnace, which is not conducive to gasification. At the same time, the empty layer is high, the material layer is naturally shortened, and drying, backflush and gasification cannot be fully carried out. Gas quality will deteriorate, but when air levels are lower, the gas will produce more dust, so voids are an important indicator if there is a suitable void height.
In the process of controlling the height of the material layer in the gas generator, we learned that the control of the height of each layer is very critical. Only reasonable height control can ensure the performance of each layer and speed up the performance of the overall material layer, thereby ensuring the gasification phenomenon and reducing equipment failures, and increasing the quality of gas production and the economic benefits of the enterprise.
