The standpipe is one of the important equipment in the production process of the two-stage gas generator. In the general process, after being discharged from the outlet, it enters the standpipe first. The standpipe is a steel vertical cylinder container. After the high-temperature gas enters the standpipe, it directly contacts the circulating water sprayed by the nozzle on the upper part of the standpipe, and exchanges heat to reduce the gas temperature to the specified value. Since the circulating water is in direct contact with the gas, the gas passes through the standpipe and the direction of the air flow changes, causing most of the particles brought out by the gas to settle, thereby achieving the purpose of cooling and cleaning. In order to improve the heat transfer and cleaning effect, the water temperature should be low, the spray particles should be fine, and the cross-section of the standpipe scale should be evenly covered. The impurities in the water should be small, the amount of water should be appropriate, and the pressure should reach the specified value.
1. The water pressure is too high. At this time, the spray angle of the nozzle will be relatively large, so part of the water will be sprayed on the body of the vertical pipe during the spraying process. If things go on like this, it will easily cause wear on the body of the pipe.
2. It is likely that the installation position or installation angle of the nozzle is unreasonable, which will result in uneven spraying during the water spraying process. Therefore, part of the water will be sprayed directly on the pipe wall during spraying. Over time, it is easy to cause wear and tear on the pipe body of the standpipe.
3. It has a corresponding relationship with the gasification raw materials used in the two-stage gas generator. The fuel will produce corresponding carryovers during the gasification process. The surface hardness of these substances will vary depending on the fuel. Normally, when coke is used as the gasification raw material, the circulating water produced will contain coke particles with higher hardness, so these coke particles with higher hardness will wear the steel plate of the standpipe body.
