The reasons for foaming at the bottom of the gas generator are exactly opposite to those for foaming at the furnace surface. Foaming at the furnace surface is caused by the air arriving at the furnace surface in different situations. Foaming at the furnace bottom is caused by the hot gas pouring ash to the bottom of the furnace and mixing with the gasification agent at the bottom of the furnace, causing foaming. Therefore, there is one upward air and one downward gas. The two travel in different media and in different directions.
The gate valve or regulating butterfly valve of the air main pipe or air branch pipe is suddenly closed to a large extent, resulting in low pressure in the air main pipe or branch pipe. The pressure of the furnace gas is greater than the pressure at the furnace bottom, causing the gas to flow back. During the gas flow back, it passes through the hot recovery layer and gasification layer, causing it to further heat up. When the hot gas reaches the furnace bottom, it mixes with the air and causesgas generatorFoaming at the bottom of the furnace will cause the water seal at the bottom of the furnace to be washed away, and subsequently gas will escape from the bottom of the furnace. During a power outage, the remaining gas flows back, causing bubbling at the bottom of the single-stage gas generator. In a hot gas station, the gas generally flows back due to the blast, so there will be no bubbling at the furnace bottom. The way to deal with the foaming at the bottom of the gas generator is to inject a lot of steam into the bottom of the furnace. On the one hand, it forms a positive pressure at the bottom of the furnace, and on the other hand, the steam adds air to the gas, which can delay the foaming at the bottom of the furnace again.
