Specific gasification process of single-stage gasifier

The single-stage gasifier is a common coal gasification equipment. Its gasification process includes the following steps:
1. Adding coal: Add pulverized coal into the furnace through the coal feeder. In the furnace, pulverized coal is mixed with gasification agents (such as air, water vapor, etc.) and ignited to form a preliminary combustion reaction.
2. Retorting: Pulverized coal begins to retort under preliminary combustion conditions, producing some volatile organic compounds.
3. Pyrolysis: Volatile organic compounds continue to decompose in the pyrolysis area, producing a large amount of gas and tar. During the pyrolysis process of a single-stage gasifier, an appropriate amount of gasifying agent needs to be added to promote the reaction.
4. Gasification: Coal gas is completely generated in the gasification area, and the generated gas mainly includes carbon dioxide, hydrogen, methane and other components. These gases react with residual carbon at high temperatures to produce more gas and some ash.
5. Melting: Gas and ash react in the melting area at the lower part of the furnace to produce some valuable chemicals.
6. Discharge: The generated gas is processed by the dust collector and cooler and then enters the subsequent processing links, while the coke is discharged from the bottom of the furnace.
During the gasification process of a single-stage gasifier, attention needs to be paid to the control of pulverized coal, gasification agent and furnace temperature to ensure the smooth progress of the gasification reaction.
