In the production process of purifying cold gas, in order to stabilize the gas pressure and gas quality, some often add a gas storage cabinet to the gas collection pipe (in front of the gas booster). The gas storage cabinets vary in size, the smallest is a few hundred cubic meters, and the largest can reach more than 100,000 cubic meters.

(1) A comprehensive inspection must be carried out before the gas storage cabinet is put into use;
1. Fill the water tank of the gas storage cabinet with industrial water and reach the specified water level.
2. Check whether the valve of the drain pipe at the bottom of the sink is leaking. If leakage is found, it must be repaired quickly.
3. The drainage system on the gas inlet and outlet pipes must be complete, and each valve must open and close flexibly without leakage.
4. The check device on the gas inlet pipe must be flexible in action and reliable in operation.
5. The lifting mark of the gas storage cabinet must be obvious and visible.
(2) When the gas storage cabinet of the gas generator is put in for the first time or connected to the network in the middle, the following operation methods must be followed:
1. Close the inlet and outlet gas valves of the gas storage, open the valve of the discharge pipe on the floating roof, and perform steam purging. The purging time depends on the volume of the gas tank until white steam emerges from the discharge pipe.
2. Open the gas inlet pipe valve, blow with gas, and slowly close the steam valve until gas comes out of the discharge pipe. Take a sample for testing. When the oxygen content is less than 0.5%, slowly close the valve on the discharge pipe. Start the operation of the gas pressurizer and operate the gas supply according to the operating procedures of the gas pressurizer.
