What are the classifications of gas generators?

gas generatorAccording to different gas production processes and the quality of the gas produced, they are divided into single-stage gas generators, double-stage gas generators and retort gas generators.
The product of a single-stage gas generator is a thermal processing process in which solid fuel (coal or coke) passes through the gas, that is, oxygen or oxygen compounds (steam, carbon dioxide) are used to pass through the high-temperature solid fuel (coal, coke) layer, and the organic matter that acts as an oxidizer
Single stage gas generator
(Air, water vapor) is called a gasifying agent, and the mixed gas generated containing hydrogen, carbon monoxide, methane, etc. is called coal gas.
Furnace body structure: full water jacket structure, self-produced steam pressure is 294KPa, which can be directly passed into the gas furnace for use as gasification agent.
Coal adding mechanism: It adopts mechanical coal adding structure, which is simple to operate, easy to maintain and has good air tightness.
Dust cleaning mechanism: Hydraulic transmission device is used for wet single-side dust removal. The furnace has uniform feeding, slag removal and air distribution, easy operation, convenient adjustment and reliable operation.
Atmospheric fixed bed gasifiers generally use lump anthracite or bituminous coal and coke as raw materials, and use steam or a mixture of steam and air as the gasification agent to produce gasification gas with carbon monoxide and hydrogen as the main combustible components. The fuel layer in the gas furnace is divided into 1 - drying layer 2 - carbonization layer 3 - reduction layer 4 - oxidation layer 5 - ash layer.
double section
The gas generated by the double-stage gas generator is divided into upper section gas and lower section gas. The gas in the upper section is equipped with an advanced I-level electric tar collector to remove heavy tar and dust. Its working temperature is between 90-150 degrees Celsius. After entering the indirect cooler, the gas is cooled to about 35-45 degrees Celsius in the indirect cooler. The lower section gas is dusted by the cyclone dust collector, and the temperature after dust removal is about 450-550 degrees Celsius. Then it enters the waste heat heat exchanger, which cools the gas while recovering the sensible heat of the gas. The gas temperature drops to about 200-230 degrees Celsius; then it enters the air cooler for cooling, and the temperature drops to 35-45 degrees Celsius. After being indirectly cooled, the upper gas and lower gas enter the secondary electric light oil collector to be deoiled and dusted again. The cooled and purified gas is pressurized and
Pressure, transported through gas pipelines.

The retorting gasifier is a furnace type developed on the basis of a two-stage furnace. The gas in the lower section of the two-stage furnace is eliminated and all the gas is fully retorted in the retorting section and discharged from the top of the gas furnace. The retort furnace not only retains the simple advantage of the two-stage furnace in terms of material layer control, but at the same time, because all the gas produced in the gasification section flows upward due to the retort coal, there is no need to adjust the flow rate of the gas, which greatly reduces the complexity of the operation and maintenance of the gas furnace.
Retorting furnaces are better than one-stage furnaces and two-stage furnaces in reducing ash carried by gas.
