We can understand the condition of the gas generator through a flame detector

We can understand the condition of the gas generator through a flame detector.
1. Double oxide layer: This shows that the fire layer is disordered. The fire layer should be concentrated in a certain section. Due to frequent and excessive poking, excessive ash discharge, slagging, etc., this double oxide layer will appear. The double oxide layer is mixed with a reduction layer, making it impossible to carry out gasification according to the normal oxidation and then reduction procedure. The reduction time is shortened, resulting in a decrease in gas quality.
2. Long oxide layer: This shows that because the saturation temperature is too small, the reaction of water vapor and coke is weak and cannot absorb a large amount of heat. As a result, the heat released after the oxide layer reaction is not used in time. The accumulation of heat causes the increase of the oxide layer. An excessively long oxide layer is not conducive to the reduction reaction and has an impact on the gas quality. It can be corrected by increasing the saturation temperature.
3. Short oxide layer: This means that the saturation temperature is too high. Just like the sign, too much water vapor absorbs heat and shortens the oxide layer. Oxidation is fundamental in gasification and provides the heat used in the post-reduction process. If the fire layer is too short, of course, the subsequent gasification conditions will be poor.
4. The fire reaches the bottom: At this time, the fire layer is at the top of the flame detector, which means that the fire layer has dropped and directly contacted the grate and skirt of the gas generator, causing damage to the equipment.
5. No fire layer: There are two concepts. The conscious mind cannot see the bright red fire layer in the fire drill. Many experienced stokers use rubber soles to gently rub the section that is usually the fire layer. If there is a wisp of smoke, it means that this part is the fire layer, indicating that the temperature is low, or the time that the drill stays in the furnace is too short. The second is that the fire layer has dropped to the bottom, that is, the fire layer has dropped to a part where the drill cannot be inserted. At this time, the following conditions are supported, that is, the water temperature in the ash pan is relatively high, the amount of supplementary water is increased, and the furnace skirt joint flange is burned through.
6. High fire layer: At this time, the position of the fire layer is too high, so that the reduction layer above it is very short, the reduction is incomplete, and the gas quality will decrease. At the same time, it can be seen that the temperature of the surface of the furnace is very high, which is also one of the reasons for the high temperature of the gas furnace.
