1. Temperature control of the gas entering the desulfurization tower

During the actual operation, the temperature of the gas entering the tower needs to be controlled to be maintained at about 40 degrees Celsius, which requires cooling measures for the pressurized gas. A gas pre-washing cooler should be added before the gas enters the tower, with a water consumption of 40t/h, and a washing circulation pool with a volume of 200 cubic meters for natural cooling. Ensure that the inlet water temperature is not higher than 38 degrees, the outlet water temperature is lower than 45 degrees, and the cooling water is recycled.
2. Control of tar and dust entering the desulfurization tower
According to actual operating experience, once the tar removal equipment in the gas purification area cannot operate normally and the tar content of the outbound gas increases, it will directly lead to low regeneration efficiency of the desulfurization solution and affect the formation of sulfur foam. Long-term operation will also cause the packing in the desulfurization tower to become clogged, thereby affecting the normal operation of the rectification process. Tar and dust particles in the gas will form an emulsion suspension in the desulfurization solution, which is difficult to separate. Some of them will be brought into the filter for filtering, resulting in increased impurities and abnormal color of the produced sulfur paste. And it reduces the activity of 888 desulfurizer, and the impact is obvious.
Solution:
Through constant repeated trials and inspections, the main control measures currently adopted are briefly introduced as follows:
1. By improving the working efficiency of gas station purification equipment and increasing the amount of cold circulating water in the intercooler, ensure that the gas temperature after pressurization by the pressurizer does not exceed 45 degrees;
2. Improve the spray system of the washing cooler and use multi-layer, atomizing nozzles to fully wash, purify and cool the gas entering the tower; add a washing circulation pool cooling tower to control the inlet water temperature not to be higher than 38 degrees.
3. Take samples regularly every day to test the composition of the desulfurization solution, control the solution situation at any time, and implement proportional dosing based on actual data and combined with the overall conditions of the user's entire gas station, desulfurization, and gas equipment system.
Of course, in the practical application of wet desulfurization in gas generators, there are still many details and specific parameters that have not been mentioned, including the parameters of the sulfur content in the gas. In this industry, users are unevenly distributed from south to north, and the quality of the coal used by users varies. The sulfur content, gasification intensity, and volatile content of each coal are inconsistent. Problems such as temperature fluctuations of the furnace gas and changes in gas composition often occur due to the replacement of different types of coal, which has a certain impact on the normal operation of the desulfurization system.
From the current point of view, the wet desulfurization of producer gas is the general trend. There is still room for improvement in the wet desulfurization of producer gas. In order to better provide users with reasonable, safe and reliable desulfurization equipment, it is necessary to continue in-depth research and continuous improvement and optimization, and make efforts to develop desulfurization and environmental protection.
