1. The oxygen content is too high and the furnace will explode.
When the gas generator is turned on, the coal seam is low, the furnace temperature is low, and the furnace is scarred; the steam carries water, which causes the furnace temperature to drop sharply; the flue gas enters the scrubber and cooling tower, and the pipes are not blown clean when converting to gas after purging, etc., etc., all of which will cause an explosion with excessive oxygen content.
2. Explosion during hot standby furnace
The gas outlet pipe was not cut off and the gas was not driven away; for too long, the furnace became cold and air seeped in; the slag suddenly collapsed, forming a negative pressure in the furnace cavity, and air was sucked in from the coal bunker and natural ventilation holes to cause an explosion.
3. Explosion during shutdown
The gas production equipment (pipeline) was not purged when the furnace was shut down due to slow action in cutting off the air pipe or failure of the automatic machine. Negative pressure was caused by the cooling of the gas, and air was sucked in from loose parts of the equipment (pipeline), causing excessive oxygen content and causing an explosion.
4. Explosion occurs during maintenance and fire
Incomplete replacement with inert gas before starting a fire, and there are still gas dead spots in the equipment (pipelines); inaccurate sampling and analysis, or relying on subjective experience. Starting a fire without passing the analysis will also cause an explosion; failure to cut off the gas source connected to the production system; the interruption time of the fire exceeding the regulations, and failure to conduct analysis when the fire breaks out again will cause an explosion.
