The gas generator is a reaction furnace used to produce gas, water gas and semi-water gas. In daily use, it may malfunction due to some reasons, such as cold operation. So what should we do when encountering this situation?
1. Cold running phenomenon:
1. The gas generator outlet temperature is lower than the normal value.
2. The inner material layer appears black or dark, slightly red.
3. The gas contains too much water, the quality deteriorates, the H2 content increases, the CO2 content increases, the CO content decreases, the carbon content of the ash is high, and the kiln tends to the lower limit range.
2. Hazards of cold operation:
1. Thin ash layer can easily burn the grate or skirt.
       2、gas generatorThe internal temperature is low, the oxidation reaction is insufficient, the vaporization efficiency is low, and the gas quality and output cannot meet the energy consumption requirements of the kiln.
3. Because the temperature of the oxide layer decreases, the ash layer is too thin, the gasification agent is preheated, the raw material gasification is incomplete, the carbon content of the ash and slag increases, and the raw material consumption increases.
3. Causes of cold operation:
1. The saturation temperature is higher than the normal control value.
2. If there is too much powder in the gasified raw materials, the resistance of the material layer will increase and the air permeability will deteriorate.
3. Excessive ash removal, the fire layer is lower than the top of the grate, and the total layer is too high.
